Sealed right, proven on paper

Most insulation jobs end with a handshake and an invoice. Ours end with a report. When the crew finishes, you get the foam type, the depth we measured across the job, before and after photos, and the re-entry instructions for your home.

If something looks off, the report shows it, and we come back and fix it.

Why spray foam in South Texas

San Antonio attics bake. Standard attic floor insulation slows heat, but air still moves through gaps around lights, vents and top plates. Spray foam expands into those gaps and stops the air movement as well as the heat, which is why it is common on new custom homes and on metal buildings across the Hill Country.

It is not the right answer for every home, and it is not the cheapest insulation. During the site visit we tell you plainly whether foam, blown-in insulation or a mix makes the most sense for your building and budget.

Money worth knowing about

  • CPS Energy rebate: CPS Energy pays up to $0.35 per square foot for contractor-installed attic insulation that meets its rules, for projects completed February 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027. See if your project qualifies.
  • Federal tax credit: the federal 25C credit for insulation ended for work placed in service after December 31, 2025. Some companies still advertise it. We will not.

Common questions

How much does spray foam insulation cost?

It depends on square footage, open or closed cell foam, and how thick it goes on. National material costs run about $0.44 to $0.65 per board foot for open cell and $1 to $1.50 for closed cell, before labor (Fixr, January 2025). We give you a written price after a site visit. Read the cost guide.

Do I have to leave my house?

Yes, for a short time. Federal guidance says to stay out during the install and for at least 24 hours afterward unless the product maker says otherwise. We ventilate the work area and tell you the exact re-entry time before we start. See our clean install protocol.

Open cell or closed cell?

Open cell is lighter and less expensive and works well under roof decks in many homes. Closed cell is denser, adds strength and blocks moisture, which makes it the usual pick for metal buildings and roofing. Compare them side by side.

Do you work with builders?

Yes. We schedule new construction around your drywall date and provide inspection-ready documentation. See the builder page.
